A SEASON FOR CULTIVATING

This is most definetly the season for cultivation. People and farmers are out preparing their land. Every where I look fields are being tilled in prepartion for their summer crops. Spring time is so beautiful! A lot of time and hard work is put into the beauty of a rose garden and the rows of peas, beans, corn, tomatoes, and such like.

How much more should couples seek to "cultivate" their relationships? After all, what is more important? House work, yard work, jobs, your routine, taking each other for granted, just life in general, if you're not careful, will leave your "marriage garden" dried up! It will become choked with briars, thorns, and lots and lots of weeds that WILL need to be pulled out. Yes, that requires hard work also, but the fruits from that outweigh the benefits of any other garden in this world!

In this season of cultivation I challenge every couple to give attention to what is most important. It really doesn't matter how long you've been married, one year or 30, it is NEVER too late to become a MASTER CULTIVATOR! Some would say that I went to the extreme, but I know God was in that!! And I give HIM all the Praise and the Glory. When one begins to pull the weeds out of their garden, the right nutrients will sink in and what you planted WILL take root and your relationship will grow beautifully and stronger than you ever imagined. The Judds sang it best in 1990, LOVE CAN BUILD A BRIDGE. 1 Co. 13:13 And now abides, Faith, Hope, and Love, these three; but the greatest of these is LOVE.

Mark 4:38-41 And He was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake Him, Master, carest Thou not that we perish? And He arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And He said unto them, Why are you so fearful? How is it that ye have no faith? And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?

Why should we ever fear, when even the wind and the sea obey HIM!! I believe sometimes this Verse gets overlooked from Matthew 28:18. And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, ALL power is given unto Me in Heaven and Earth. HE has ALL power, not some President or the Congress and Senate. But the Lord Jesus Christ has complete Control, Power and Authority know matter what some man or group may think!

For us Believers the Power is in His Name, the Name of Jesus! Mark 3:14-15 And He ordained Twelve, that they should be with Him, and that He might send them forth to Preach, and to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:

So therefore, this is my New Years Resolution, to be that vessel, meet for the Master's Use, looking to Jesus in all matters, who is the Author and Finisher of my Faith. We, who truly believe in HIS POWERFUL NAME, can lay hands on the sick and they WILL be healed!! We, who truly believe in HIS POWERFUL NAME, can say come out of him (or her) you unclean spirit! In this New Year coming up, I want to live my live in such a way, that an unclean spirit will recognize me as belonging to Christ! Acts 19:15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?

I challenge everyone not to get asked "who are you?" Let us live out the rest of our days BELIEVING what we read in the Bible. Let us be strong, Holy Spirit Anointed and Bold Christians speaking His Name with the Authority He has given

unto us!

TRUE "DELIVERANCE" TEACHING!

Colossians 1:13 Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the Kingdom of His Dear Son:

I want to talk about something that I have heard often over the past few years and that is the message of deliverance. I've heard it asked and preached, that one needs to be delivered from something. Time and time again one will come to the Altar for deliverance over a problem and yet they are still doing the same things. One must realize and except the fact that you have already been delivered!! I have heard said so many times that the devil is attacking, but my Bible says very clearly, that you keep commiting your sins because of the lusts in your own heart. James 1:14 says But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Drugs, alcohol, adultery, fornication, "homo-acceptance," gossip, slander, tale-bearing, it is all the same. It is sin in God's Eyes! Just don't do it! It is that very simple!!

The answer to your problem is found right here in Colossians 1:21. It reads, And you, who were sometimes alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now has He reconciled. vs.22 In the Body of His flesh through death, to present you Holy and unblamable and unreprovable in His sight: now here is the KEY and read it very carefully!! verse 23 If you continue in the Faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the Hope of the Gospel, which you have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under Heaven;

If your Faith is not grounded and anchored in the Finished Work at the Cross on a daily basis, then you will be moved away! Every single morning remind yourself of what The Lord Jesus did for you at the Cross and rest assured that The Holy Spirit will enable you to live a Holy and Victorious life! That is a fact, that is the Truth!

Remember this, The Bible clearly says in Col. 2:10 And you are complete in Him, which is the Head of all principality and power. A saved man or woman of God is COMPLETE IN CHRIST!!! Get that through your head and let it sink deep in your heart, you don't need anything but The Lord Jesus Christ, He alone makes you complete and whole and DELIVERED!! When Jesus was nailed to that Cross, satan lost! Jesus Christ has delivered us already from the powers of darkness. One has to be responsible and sensitive enough to the inward work of the Holy Ghost, to not purposely do stupid stuff anymore. You need to be aware of the warnings of God concerning sin. The wrath of God will come on the children of disobedience one day. (Col. 3:6) God cannot abide sin in any form.

My prayer is that this Truth will come from our Pulpits. Jesus Christ has already delivered us and when one keeps sinning then he's damning his own soul. Hebrews 10:26 is very clear, If we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the Truth, there remains no more Sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

People you need to go to the above web site and scroll down until you get to this topic and listen to the radio program for yourself. This is a work of satan trying to destroy the Church! Pastor Bob DeWaay says it best, "Church is an assembly of the redeemed, not a planned meeting whose goal is to be attractive to the surrounding pagan community." Wow, I love that!! And it's true, Preachers have got to stop worrying about "embarrasing" someone and just Preach it, call sin sin and demand Repentance!! The conviction that the unbeliever experiences comes from the Holy Spirit through the Preaching of the Gospel! When someone truly experiences that conviction they will respond by Faith and come forth to the Altar before all. That is Scriptural. However, the Purpose Driven Program, devised by demonic Rick Warren, was founded on Peter Drucker's business model and is not revealed in the Bible. Preachers need to wake up and have a Bible Back-Bone and Preach the truth and stop trying to make the Church attractive to the world. Through out the Book of Acts there is a separation of those who believe from the rest. Trying to make the early Church attractive to the unsaved Jews would have been impossible. They owned no buildings, they met in homes! The Preaching of the Cross brings offense! If the Gospel of Christ is Preached every Sunday, as it should, then every one but the "called" would be offended! Maybe they need to be, that's the Holy Ghost bringing conviction to the heart of the sinner. Get out of the way you so-called Preacher and either Preach the Bible or get out of the Pulpit! None of the unsaved in any neighborhood is going to love the Message of the Cross before they are born-again. So, if you are successful in getting them to Church, they will be offended, according to the Apostle Paul, unless they are the "called." Never, never water down the Gospel to tickle no man's ears! Oh have Mercy dear Lord in Your Day of Judgment! For Your Word boldly and clearly says that Judgment must begin at the House of God!!!!!

Let us who truly believe the Holy Bible, practice what the early Church did in ACTS 2:42-47. Yeah, the last verse says the Lord added to the Church daily such as should be saved. Not man and his devilish schemes and tactics!!!!!!!!!

Genesis 13:13 But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the Lord exceedingly.

Deut. 22:5 The woman shall not wear that which pertains unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all who do such are abomination unto the Lord your God.

There has been a great burden placed upon my heart to protect my Church and God's Holiness! My prayer is that when people enter into our Sanctuary, they will instantly know they are standing upon Holy Ground! With Holy Ghost boldness and confidence, this day I declare, that satan you are defeated! As a matter of fact, you were totally defeated at the Cross! Evil and wicked spirits are not allowed to enter in and hinder the work and move of God in my Church in anyway!

I am at a place in my life where I can be very straight forward and to the point, with nothing to fear, but God Himself. A transvestite is an abomination unto the Lord my God. From Deut. 22:5, Pulpit says, "The Divinely instituted distinction between the sexes was to be sacradely observed and, in order to do this, the dress and other things appropriate to the one were not to be used by the other. Whatever tended to obliterate the distinction between the sexes tends to licentiousness."

What does the word licentiousness mean? Glad you asked... 1) lacking legal or moral restraints; especially disregarding sexual restraints 2) marked by disregard for strict rules of correctness. - Another defintion says, having no regards for accepted rules or standards. Most definetely, that fits the homosexual and transvestite, for they do not nor can they accept the Holy Word of God as their rule and Authority for their life. They have been given over by God to a reprobate mind!

Galatians 5:19 says, Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, - Here is what Wayne Jackson wrote about lasciviousness....

The Greek word behind the English term “lascivious” is aselgeia. It occurs nine times in the New Testament. Twice it is rendered as “wantonness” (Romans 13:13; 2 Peter 2:18), and once it appears as “filthy” (2 Peter 2:7). The other six times it is translated as “lascivious” (cf. Mark 7:22; 2 Corinthians 12:21; Galatians 5:19; Ephesians 4:19; 1 Peter 4:3; Jude 4).

Lasciviousness is a gross form of wickedness that has sexual overtones in many cases. It starts in a sinful heart (Mark 7:21-22), and manifests itself in fleshly (carnal) actions (Galatians 5:19), and can lead to a state of being “past feeling” (Ephesians 4:19).

The word can connote several attitudes or actions. With reference to sexual matters it embraces the concepts of excess, unbridled lust, debauchery, and sensuality. It suggests a disregard for public decency.

William Barclay says the word conveys the idea of a person “who is so far gone in lust and desire” that he or she ceases “to care what people say or think” (p. 52). Josephus, the Jewish historian, once used the word to describe a man who indecently exposed himself to a crowd (Antiquities 20.5.3).

J.H. Thayer connected the term with such things as “wanton (acts or) manners, filthy words, indecent bodily movements,” and “unchaste handling of males and females” (pp. 79-80). It is a comprehensive term for evil and perversion (Balz, p. 169). For example, it describes the moral environment of ancient Sodom and Gomorrah (2 Peter 2:7), and one hardly needs to be reminded of the shameless practices characteristic of those communities"

Verse 21 of Galatians 5 goes on to WARN you : of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the Kingdom of God. It makes me sick to my stomach those out there who claim to love God and Jesus and talk the "love and compassion talk," and yet you live as a filthy animal who openly rebels against what God says in the Bible.

You most likely do not even read your Bible. There was a poll given that most who profess to be Christians do not even study the Sacred Scriptures. Ignorance will be no excuse the day God calls you into account!

In a society cut off from the understanding and authority of God's Word, men and women feel free to commit adultery and practice homosexuality, transvestism and even bestiality- doing virtually anything that "feels good." Why? I tell you the answer, I already said it in the above paragraph. Millions profess Christ, but they simply do not study the Holy Bible! That is a plain fact that cannot be debated. The Word of God changes your life! The Word is alive and the Holy Spirit gives you understanding and helps you to conform to the image of Christ. Jesus even said, by their fruits you will know them! If one really views the Bible as the only real Authority in your life, then you would not commit NOR condone these abominations! And that is fact my friend

Here is some more interesting facts on the nasty, creepy word, transvestite or cross-dresser. " So is there more to be gotten out of this than a condemnation of cross-dressing on the grounds of sexual license and sympathetic magic? John H. Walton and Victor H. Matthews [5] note, "Just as clothing served as a status marker in the ancient world, it also distinguished gender. In classical contexts, cross-dressing occurred in the theater, where women were not allowed to perform, and was also an aspect of homosexual practice. Most instances in which cross-dressing or transvestism are mentioned in ancient Near Eastern texts are cultic or legal in nature. For instance, when the Ugaritic hero Aqhat is murdered, his sister Paghat puts on a male garment under her female robes in order to assume the role of blood avenger in the absence of a male relative. An Assyrian wisdom text contains a dialogue between husband and wife who propose to exchange their clothing and thus assume each other's gender roles. This may be a fertility rite or perhaps a part of a religious drama honoring a goddess. It may be this association with other religions that made transvestism an 'abomination' in Deuteronomy, but the issue may also be the blurring of gender distinctions. Hittite texts use gender-related objects as well as clothing in a number of magical rites used to influence one's sexual status or diminish or alter the gender status of an adversary. The objects of the female where mirror and distaff; those of the male, various weapons." -

This has not been a joyful teaching, but a disgusting one if fact. But God's people must know the truth behind these evil ways, that these evil people want us to accept.

I also found this short article written on the matter which I will include in mine:

"Given this evidence it is my opinion that what God finds detestable is the putting on of clothing belonging to the opposite sex in order to submerge one's gender and take on another; to become a transvestite. This verse is not condemning men who dress as women as a lark in a play or women who wear pants for riding horses etc., persons who are doing these things are not submerging their true genders, they are still male and female. It's the act of becoming a transvestite that God hates.

The New Testament says God finds the sin of homosexuality detestable; it stands to reason He's not changed His mind about transvestite behaviors. One must be careful, however, not to fall into the trap of legalism or attempting to obey the Old Covenant. Under the Old Covenant, for example, no more blends in fabric, but only pure cotton or pure rayon, etc.. No more shrimp or catfish. And the commands for sacrifices

Deuteronomy 22:5 prohibits cross-dressing. A man is not to wear women's clothes and vice versa, according to the cultural norms of the day. This deals with transvestitism or with conduct that could even give the appearance that one is engaged in such a practice. The command does not forbid unisex fashions—that is, attire that is culturally acceptable for both men and women to wear. It should also be noted here that "in the ancient Middle East, dressing in the clothing of the opposite sex was a magical practice intended to bring harm to people. For example, a transvestite male would predict that the soldiers of another army would be as weak as females" (Nelson, note on 22:5).

Upon reading this my mind began to wonder if what I have recently observed could be him trying to predict the fall of a Church? Not mine and let me tell you why. We have a great army of Prayer Warriors who have risen up in great Faith, who know and understand the Word of God. We will stand together in one mind and one accord to keep the enemy out of our camp. And you can bet your bottom dollor on that!

This is not hard, one is to repent and believe the Gospel and spend Eternal Life with the Lord Jesus Christ or one can reject the Gospel, live in rebellion to God's Word and go to Hell for all Eternity. We are in the end times and there is no room for compromise or some feel good gospel to make a person feel at ease or comfortable! No, the Work of the Holy Ghost is to bring conviction and rebuke to the sinner! Not to pat you on the back and make some excuse for you. No way, not in my Bible. Yes, God is love, but God is HOLY and we are to be Holy in all manner of conversation and lifestyle!!

Homosexuals and transvestites are of satan and therefore the person is demon possessed, they have been given over to a reprobate mind!!! It is unnatural and a great ABOMINATION in the sight of The Lord our God!

I Kings 22:46 And the remnant of the sodomites, which remained in the days of his father Asa, he took out of the land. What a Godly King Judah had. He would not allow the remnant to remain, he took them out of the land period!! Too often the people of God are willing to allow the REMNANT OF EVIL to remain in their midst. The Holy Spirit demands that everything that is evil be taken out. With the Believer evidencing Faith in the Finished Work at the Cross, the Holy Spirit enables you without reservation or hestitation to stand up and defend the Holy Word of God!

Today, even right now, gross sins of the wicked have not only crept into our schools teaching things they ought not, pushing their agenda into our kids lives, but they are also in our Churches! Certain Denominations are ordaining homosexual priests and ministers to stand in the Pulpit. Where are the Prophets? Who is left in the land to cast out this evil remnant that remains?

Again it makes me sick to see and hear girls or women call their homo friends their "besties." They are dangerously condoning something God has condemned. Romans 1:32 speaks of death! Spiritual death is a separation from God which will result in the loss of your soul, thereby sending it into hell. Lord God reveal this Truth to those who desperately need it this day, that they will repent and believe the Gospel.

Come out from among them and be ye separate, and touch not the unclean thing, is a verse that stands strong and true for this topic. But take heed, that when you do come out, that you will not get caught looking back, as Lot's wife did so very long ago. She kept looking back with desire in her heart for the sodomites. For that she became a pillar of salt. For that disobedience and for her soul desiring to stay in Sodom, it now resides in hell. Again I say, Remember Lot's wife.

PRAYER; A DELIGHTFUL COMMUNICATION

PSALMS 116:1-2 I love the Lord, because He has heard my voice and my supplication. Because He has inclined His ear unto me, therefore will I call upon Him as long as I live.

Romans 12:12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer.

Yes, as long as I live I will call upon Him. I know He hears me when I pray! When we come before our Lord in prayer it should be with delight in our hearts, not just some duty to be fulfilled! It is Awesome to come into the Presence of God, with child-like faith, knowing He hears your every word! One should understand when we pray, that we are actually communicating with Him! When one comes to God, not only must we believe that He Is, (He.11:6) but that He also hears our prayers!! I love to pray, I'm always talking to Him about something. But as I read AW Tozer this morning, I became aware of my file-card mentality! To understand what I'm saying, read this excerpt of Tozer:

" When religion loses its sovereign character and becomes mere form this spontaneity is lost also, and in its place come precedent,

propriety, system--and the file-card mentality.... The slave to the file card soon finds that his prayers lose their freedom and become less spontaneous, less effective. He finds himself concerned over matters that should give him no concern whatever--how much time he spent in prayer yesterday, whether he did or did not cover his prayer list for the day, whether he gets up as early as he used to do or stays up in prayer as late at night. Inevitably the calendar crowds out the Spirit and the face of the clock hides the face of God. Prayer ceases to be the free breath of a ransomed soul and becomes a duty to be fulfilled. And even if under such circumstances he succeeds in making his prayer amount to

something, still he is suffering tragic losses and binding upon his

soul a yoke from which Christ died to set him free."

Wow, this really struck a cord with me. You see I'm guilty of writing everything down, to the point that I've become dependent upon my paper and inkpen. This greatly hinders the Holy Spirit from spontaneously praying through me. Yes, it is good to make prayer lists and to even write your prayers down. But in doing this, I've bound upon my soul a yoke, in which I desire to be set free. You see, I'm a very self-conscience person. My fear is not sounding right, my speech studdering, and saying the wrong things. So I pray as I'm writing, and there I have it on paper. No need to worry about messing up, so I just read what I write. Has that become a hindrance to a spontaneous move of God on me in Church?

Prayer meeting should be a time of delightful communication when two or more are gathered as one to pray in one accord, with the knowledge that He is in our midst! Prayer is child-like faith in action. As children who catch their ball in mid air, God catches our prayers as they go up before His Throne. When we pray, we enter into the very Presence of God. And what a delightful and joyful place to be! It is a sweet and pure innocence that only God can place in your spirit. It is a love and longing to be with Him as a little girl longs to be in her Grandpa's arms.

Lord may my prayers never cease to be the free breath of a ransomed soul. Speak through me, that my prayers will do the work you intended then to do. Deliver me from the file-card mentality, that I may spontaneously pray through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Futhermore our Praise and Worship should be one of great delight and something we all look forward to. Our Worship should never be looked at as a mere duty or dread. The Ministry of Music is an Awesome Ministry to be a part of! Why would one not want to sing to the King of kings and the Lord of lords? Why would one not want to Praise Him for saving your soul? Every seat in the Choir should be filled! Why would one not want to come to Choir Practice? Why? If you are a Choir Member nothing should hinder you from coming to practice. You should sing like ten thousand people are sitting before you. It is all about Him! If you are a Choir member it becomes about your priorities, nothing should hinder you, except bronchitis. Just kidding, but you get the point. It is satan who does not want our voices lifted up to Almighty God. It is most definitely evil spirits who would hinder our voices to lift up powerful songs to magnify the Name of the Lord!

I call upon those things that be not as though they were. Our Choir is filled with Anointed men and women of God who are filled with your Holy Spirit and love you with their whole being!! Thank You Holy Father for placing the Spirit of Worship in Your people. Thank You Holy Father for casting out demons and evil spirits who would hinder the Awesome Ministry of Music.

What delightful communication we have in prayer and singing. I also have my kids I teach, these things are my very heartbeat, not my pacemaker. If I did not have His "Communication Tools" I would die. Prayer and singing, what a delightful communication God has given unto us to commune with Him and enter into His very Presence. Yes, delightful indeed!

( This morning as I was sitting here at my computer, I made and awful mistake! You see I sat here and typed before I wrote this out on my paper. I just typed from my heart. I accidentally hit the wrong button on my keyboard and lost all my work. I didn't click publish first. I became so distraught, I went in my bathroom and cried like a child. Then became angry. I felt totally defeated. I told God there was no way I could remember all of that, that I had typed. I had given up, was going to walk away. Then I realized it was all a work of satan, who did not want me to publish this piece. God spontaneously moved upon me to rewrite this. I was tested about what I had just wrote about. My dependence upon paper and ink! And for that I give You, Lord, all the Praise and Glory in the Name of Jesus, who is greater in might than all the demons in hell who would have hindered me from obeying the voice of my Lord this day!!!!!!!!!)

KEEP ON BELIEVING, KEEP ON PRAYING, FOR GOD IS A LISTENING!

Habakkuk 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

This is an absolute beautiful passage of Scripture! How Awesome is our God, to remind us in His Word, that He will surely perform that which He has promised! How many out there has received a promise or a vision from the Lord, and yet it has not come to pass? You keep waiting, and you keep hoping, because you know that you know, that God has showed you "what seems impossible" in your spirit.

Though it tarry and it will, the enemy will plant great and mighty seeds of discouragement in your mind. He will do and say everything in his power to turn your thoughts away from your vision. The wicked one will keep you focused only on what you can see in front of you, your present circumstances. He knows that if he can get that foothold of doubt to enter in, then he "thinks" he has you. The one who troubles you will come to an end. Hab. 2:4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him. His lifted pride creates an atmosphere of oppression, where the child of God is held down with weariness. We must read on to the end of the verse that says, but the just shall live by his faith!!! Rise up and reread Hab. 2:3, though it tarry wait for it; because it will surely come!! No devil in hell can stop the blessings God has in store for His Children. No devil in hell can stop the Vision from coming to pass.

Though He tarry, He wants you to believe. Remember, Jesus says in Mark 9:23 If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes. Though He tarry, He wants you to keep praying. Our Lord Jesus says in Mt. 21:22 And all things, whatsoever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive. Though He tarry, I tell you of a certainty, He is listening! You do not have to fear just because your vision or promise from the Lord has not come to pass. God listens when we pray. Psalms 34:4 I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. Do not stay in this awful place of discouragement any longer, resist the devil, he has to flee from you! Also what a wonderful word we have in John 9:31 Now we know that God hears not sinners; but if any man be a Worshipper of God, and does His Will, him He hears.

Praise the Lord! Keep on believing, for your vision is yet for an appointed time! At the end it shall speak and not lie and your enemies will be confounded and put to shame. They will then know, all this time, we have been on the backside of the field, tending to the Word of God and praying. The silent faithful can be found plowing their fields while Faith is mounting up like Eagles's wings. They know that any moment of the day, their trump could sound, and in an instant all things will change.

God has given me a vision, as I'm sure he has you also, if you are close to Him. He has an appointed time, though it tarry wait for it, because it will surely come! Amen.

EASTER

John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the Resurrection, and the Life: he who believes in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.

The most Holy time of the year is upon us and once again the world is running around like the famous "easter bunny" buying eggs, food coloring, lots of candy and preparing for their annual egg hunt.

May I remind everyone of the true meaning of Easter, it is all about HIM, our Redeemer and Savior! Yes, we should all celebrate, but not as the rest of the world. Those of us who have repented and believe the Gospel should give God all the Praise and Glory this Sunday morning for giving us His only Begotten Son, Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our Faith!

Remember, HE SUFFERED FOR YOU!

Mt. 27:22-23 Pilate saith unto them, Whether of the two will you that I release unto

you? They said Barabbas. Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus

which is called Christ? They all say unto Him, Let Him be crucified. 27:26 Then

released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scouraged Jesus he delivered Him

to be crucified.

Each time I read Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John the reality of His pain He endured

causes great sorrow in my heart. I feel great shame come over me for all the times I

have complained over persecution. Our Lord Jesus endured such trials of anguish

and torture that is beyond human comprehension. For He did it voluntarily, He took

it upon Himself to redeem lost man back to God. How can we as Christians ever

thank Him enough?

His suffering began when He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up.

Luke 4:16 His own people, the very ones who knew Him for about thirty years

rejected His message and rose up and threw Him out of the city and led Him to the

top of a hill where they might throw Him down to His death. By the power of God,

He escaped them and never returned. Jesus suffered in His Spirit when His own

disciples believed not. He often rebuked them for their unbelief. Mary and Martha in

John 11 came before Him weeping for the loss of their brother. vs.33 says, Jesus

groaned in the spirit and was troubled. vs.35 Jesus wept. His tears had to do with a

far greater degree of misery than they knew.

Our Lord Jesus Christ would next enter the Garden of Gethsemane. These are the

hours when tremendous pressure came upon our Lord. As I read in Matthew 26

tears form in my eyes as I think about Jesus crying out to God to take this "hour"

away from Him. Verse 38 says, Then said He unto them, My soul is exceeding

sorrowful, even unto death vs.39 And He went a little farther and fell on His face,

and prayed, saying, O My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from Me:

nevertheless not as I will but as You will. How many of us are willing to say and

truly mean that? Jesus knew He was about to bear the sin penalty of the whole world

upon Himself and feel the separation from The Father while He hung on the Cross.

Jesus prayed a second and third time the same prayer while Peter, James, and John

slept. They could not even stay awake and pray with their Master, knowing what was

about to come upon Him. Whom may I ask can Jesus depend upon to watch and

pray in these last days we live in? They came and arrested Him and the Bible says,

Then all the Disciples forsook Him, and fled. To be left standing all alone in the

midst of evil and wicked men is a tragedy in itself. How many of us forsake our God

when persecution arises or yet how many forsake your own friends when you see

them in trouble?

They took Jesus to the High Priest where the "AWFUL" suffering of our Master

would begin. They spit in His face, blind folded Him and hit Him with their fist.

Others smote Him with the palms of their hands. Translated, "Smote him with rods.

The Prophet Isaiah said, 52:14 As many were astonished at You; His visage was so

marred more than any man, and His form more than the sons of men. Pilate willing

to content the people, released Barabbas unto them, and delivered Jesus, when he

had scouraged Him, to be crucified. They led Him away and clothed Him with

purple, and platted a crown of thorns and put it about His head. In mockery they

began to salute Him, Hail, King of the Jews! They smote Him on the head with a

reed, which was a stiff object that would have driven the thorns deep within His

scalp. They spit upon Him and bowed their knees before Him in mockery. Mark

15:25 tells us, it was the third hour (9am) and they crucified Him. As He hang on the

Cross people still railed on Him. The Word says they walked by wagging their heads

and reviling Him. Then we get to verse 34, the saddest, heartbreaking, tear jerking

verse in the Whole Bible! And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying,

Eloi, Eloi, lama, Sabachthani? Which is, being interpreted, My God, My God, why

have you forsaken Me? You see, during this three hour period of time He bore the

sin penalty of mankind, on which the Heavenly Father could not look upon.

Jesus paid the ULTIMATE PRICE, He Sacrificed Himself, because that was the

Father's Will. He sacrificed Himself to pay the ugly, horrible sin debt that was upon

the whole world due to the Fall. He voluntarily went to the Cross, knowing He would

not feel the Presence of God for a time. That had to be the most horrifying

experience He had felt during His time on Earth. "Why have You forsaken Me?"

Think about it, cry and weep, because He endured that tremendous suffering and

agony in His Soul so YOU could be saved. How dare anyone ever take the name of

my Lord in vain ever again. Forgive me for getting upset, but even right now I feel

an even greater awareness of what Jesus went through to give me Eternal Life. How

dare I ever take that for granted! Jesus I love you so much and feel so humbled in

your Presence, for I know I stand, by Thy Mercy and Grace.

I will go back one more time if anyone out there still cannot "feel His suffering."

Isaiah 50:6 I gave My back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them who plucked off

the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting. Jesus loved and had

compassion but they hated Him with a passion. They severely whipped Him and

pulled His beard from His face and spit on Him. I will now close with this thought.

God is Omniscience, all knowing! Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour knew before

He came into the world what would happen to Him. Jesus knew the pain He would

endure. Guess what? He came ANYWAY!

I would like to close with this Passage of Scripture. I believe it is very appropriate for anyone to read in this Holy Season we are in. May you find peace and have God's Joy abiding in your soul. Celebrate Easter knowing God sent the Lord Jesus to set you free from the power of sin. Yes, the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has made us free from the Law of sin and death. And my friend, it is all because Jesus went to the Cross!! This Easter Sunday, if you have not already, give you heart and life to serve the Lord Jesus Christ and have Faith in the Finished Work at The Cross, for that is your Victory!!

Romans 8:32-39 He who spared not His Own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? It is He who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yea rather, Who is risen again, Who is even at the right hand of God, Who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For Your sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all things we are more than conquerors through Him Who loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor Angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the Love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.

I WANT IT, YES I DO

1 Co. 12:4-10 Now there are diversities of Gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of Administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of Operations, but it is the same God which works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. ( meaning if the Gifts are allowed to function properly, which they definitely will if the Holy Spirit has His Way, all will profit!) For unto one is given by the Spirit the Word of Wisdom; to another the Word of Knowledge by the same Spirit; To another Faith by the same Spirit; to another the Gifts of Healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of Miracles; to another Prophecy; to another discerning of spirits (whether the spirit is of God, human, or evil) ; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

This is what every true Church should consist of. This is what makes going to Church so AWESOME. It is God's House, the Healing Station, the place where believers gather to worship and receive great and mighty blessings from the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Ghost gives these gifts to whomsoever He Wills! I thank The Lord there are individuals that God has placed in the Church, who have yielded themselves with their whole heart, that whatever Gift He has given them, will be manifested into the life of the "hungry seeker." The heart that is crying after God for a touch from Him, for that "real" manifestation to take place in your life, that there will be no doubt to what has just happened!

God has placed great Faith in my heart. I know nothing is impossible with Him. He has given that to me. Personally, I believe for things that appear impossible for man, but I know not with God! I seek and ask for things that appear impossible and unattainable. Again, I know whom I serve, The Great I AM!

The Gift of Healing is a tremendous Gift that is needed among the Body of Christ today. So many sick people, so many diseases, so many heart problems. Last night I heard some interesting stories about healing, and Scriputres references to healing. I indeed believe with all my heart that a person can be healed immediately, no matter what is wrong with them. If the Holy Spirit has given a man or woman the true Gift of Healing to go pray for an individual, then that person will receive a healing. And it will be complete and miraculous. Someone told me that some people just don't want to be healed. I wonder sometimes if that is true or the individual just doesn't care enough anymore to receive a healing? Maybe they once wanted to but they know longer have the vision to see tomorrow's road clear enough. That is so sad. For those people, I believe they need a Word of Knowledge given unto them, by someone with that Gift. Perhaps God will open their eyes so they will then be able to clearly see what an Awesome future He has in store for them to carry out His Plan on this earth. Maybe at that point, the person, who use to didn't care anymore, will now truly receive their healing that God intended all along! The Good Lord does not want to see His Children cast down, tired and don't feel good all the time. I love Psalms 3:3 But You, O Lord, are a shield for me: my glory, and the lifter up of my head. We use to sing that in our Choir, Thou O Lord. That song is like medicine, very, very Powerful!

Since Monday morning my heart has been acting up, palpitating if you will. It is a very uncomortable feeling, one I don't like at all. I want and desire GREATLY for God to take this from me. I want to be healed completely, I have Faith to receive it. God placed an Evangelist in my life that has given me something wonderful and exciting to look forward to. He is the only one that has ever made it seem possible, like yes, you can really do this. He told me I would be welcome on any of their future mission trips. Wow! You see, for some time now, I have envisioned myself going overseas, maybe like Jakarta Indonesia. I've seen myself working with children, ministering to them. Now this man, this Evangelist has given me real hope. One day, in God's time, He will use me over there doing something. Until then, I continue to pray and believe for my healing, and I pray for any Gift the Holy Spirit desires to give unto me, that would benefit someone, that He will receive all the Praise and Glory. Amen.
